This spring, the Memphis Botanic Garden comes alive with BLOOM: A Million Shades of Spring, a dazzling three‑month celebration of color and renewal across its 96 acres. Visitors can experience more than a million blooms, from enchanting cherry blossoms to sweeping tulip fields and Southern favorites, unfolding in ever‑changing waves. Each week offers something new—guided walks, workshops, family activities, and cultural “Bloom Saturdays” featuring special events and floral installations. With endless photo‑worthy scenes and vibrant displays that evolve through the season, BLOOM transforms the Garden into one of the South’s most breathtaking spring destinations.

Walking with Dinosaurs: Prehistoric Planet is an immersive experience — the characters are animated throughout against real backgrounds. It’s the most authentic dinosaur experience ever to be seen on the giant screen. The animals’ bodies and movements have been precisely built up from fossil evidence and their behavior is derived from both paleontology and detailed knowledge of the behavior of modern animals. Even their body language has been inspired by what we know of real animal behavior and gives these creatures an amazing realm.

FOOD: Science, Culture, and Cuisine explores the concept of food and feasting through sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound. It is a multi-sensory feast of an exhibition that engages you in new ways to think about food. This exhibition examines the intersections of food with history, technology, health, and culture. It presents food in an entirely new way, inviting you to experience its evolution from ancient cooking methods to modern culinary innovations. This is a unique opportunity to learn about food science while exploring its connections to culture, arts, and society.
