Playhouse on the Square

As the Mid-South's Professional Resident Theatre Company, our mission is to provide outstanding theatrical experiences to enrich the lives of our diverse audiences, participants and community. Playhouse on the Square’s Theatre Education Program has been a cornerstone of cultural enrichment in Memphis, touching the lives of nearly 30,000 individuals each year. Our programs span from the exuberant participation of preschoolers to the detailed studies of adults, designed to not only entertain but also educate, inspire, and ignite a lifelong passion for the arts.
