Discovery Camp is where kids go to be kids – getting curious, asking questions, exploring new places, and feeling free – all while living inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park and gaining a deeper appreciation for nature.

In this six-day, five-night summer camp experience, campers will explore habitats throughout Great Smoky Mountains National Park and will conduct their own field investigation. Campers will practice thinking critically as they decide how to find answers to newly-formed questions, draw connections and identify patterns that open their eyes to the magic inner workings of nature, and develop relationships with others as they play and discover together.

Smoky Mountain Family Camp is a 6-day, 5-night adventure that is designed for families who are ready to leave their cares behind in exchange for a week of outdoor family fun. You’ll get to choose your own adventure as you pick which guided activities you want to do each day.
