BLAST is a summer day camp offered by Woodland Presbyterian School, located in East Memphis, from May 28th to July 26th for campers in rising PK-8th grade. Our camps are packed with excitement, discovery, and adventure through organized play, STEAM challenges, digital discovery, and arts and crafts. BLAST offers a day camp, along with specialty camps, or a combination of both.

Camp is for ages 6-12 years (children must have completed kindergarten to register). The weekly cost is $165 for BRC Members (per child/per week session) and $195 for Non-Members. The daily cost is $45 for Members and $55 for Non-Members. Daily registration will be allowed if space permits. Priority is given to weekly campers.

Metal Marvels is a free summer camp at the Metal Museum for Title I Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) high school students aged 14-18. This camp integrates metal artmaking with scientific studies like astronomy, botany, archeology, and cryptozoology. Metal Marvels demonstrates how STEM subjects can be engaging and enjoyable through creative activities such as forging, casting, and enameling. Students learn valuable metalworking techniques and scientific principles, fostering imaginative thinking and problem-solving. The camp concludes with a celebration at the Metal Museum, where students showcase their artwork and participate in activities with their families.

Math Made Simple, Etc. has devised an Academic Summer Success Program promoting a love and value for reading, writing, science, and mathematics by modeling the ways they apply to the real world. We offer a summer program that students attend for a minimum of 4 weeks. The program is for students who are going to the Pre-K through 11th grades.

Summer camp will be available at all City of Memphis Community Centers for ages 5 – 13 with the exception of the Raymond Skinner Center.

Camp PDS is a dynamic, week-long camp planned and facilitated by PDS faculty members. Campers are grouped by grade level. Groups travel to different planned activity sessions throughout the day. Each week has its own theme and a special water day, complete with inflatables!

At Camp Manitowa our summer camp near St. Louis in Southern Illinois strive to provide campers an environment that fosters all the skills parents want their kids to develop early on in life.
