Season of Light explores the reasons humans are so fascinated with lighting up our lives during the December holiday season. Come enjoy an exploration of the astronomical meanings behind seasonal traditions, including the “Star over Bethlehem”. It’s an elegant and sophisticated program about the coldest and darkest of seasons – a time which holds some of the warmest and brightest celebrations of the year. The show recounts the historical religious and cultural rituals practiced during the time of winter solstice – not only Christian and Jewish, but also Celtic, Nordic, Roman, Irish, Mexican and Hopi.

Join us for the Candyland Christmas Parade on December 4th at 11 AM! Parade route will begin at Arlington High School and conclude at Arlington Automotive. There will not be any candy, flyers or items distributed during the parade.

This Christmas, Cazateatro Bilingual Theater Group and Opera Memphis will present a Christmas Fiesta! Come to enjoy the Christmas traditions of Latin America and the Caribbean, learn about parrandas, posadas, piñatas, and more. Enjoy traditional Christmas music in Spanish, Latin food, make a poinsettia or a small piñata.

Join us for a free amazing outdoor holiday experience on December 3rd & December 10th from 5:00pm-7:00pm on World Famous Beale Street. FREE pictures with Santa, holiday music will be heard and free hot chocolate will be provided.

From the moment you walk into the doors, you will feel transported to a Winter Wonderland as you stroll through trees, twinkling lights, dancing snowflakes, and all the seasonal trappings at CMOM. An air of excitement will surround the flurry of lively pop-up activities and everyday fun. Try to find all the fun facts about winter on display. Of course, expect the unexpected with magical visits from favorite seasonal characters and local performers.
