Birds & Seeds

Join us on National Seed Swap Day to swap seeds, learn about native and backyard gardening, and celebrate the upcoming spring with birding activities and more! Homeschool Day - Tiny Books

Homeschool families—get ready for a creative, hands-on experience at your art museum! During this special Homeschool Day, students will fold coin envelopes into tiny accordion books, then bring their stories to life through writing and colorful illustration. This playful project invites young learners to become authors, artists, and book designers all in one. From the first fold to the final brushstroke, kids will craft their own miniature books to take home and share. All materials are provided, and students of all ages are welcome with a caregiver. Homeschool Days at your art museum always include drop-in artmaking from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., docent-led tours at 10:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., and interactive gallery activities for all ages—all designed to make learning through art fun, meaningful, and accessible for homeschool families.
