Super Saturday - Button Bouquet

On March 7, celebrate Women’s History Month during Super Saturday: Button Bouquets, a creative, hands-on activity inspired by women artists in the museum’s collection. Drawing inspiration from the whimsical floral works of Florine Stettheimer and the cultural legacy of Mary Simms, young artists will craft their own vibrant upcycled bouquets using colorful pipe cleaners, buttons, and mini vases. This activity encourages kids to experiment with texture, shape, and color while reflecting on the creativity and impact of women in art history. Each handmade bouquet is a joyful celebration of imagination and self-expression—no watering required! Ideal for ages 5–12. All materials provided. Registration is required. Spaces fill quickly—sign up early to join the fun!
