Introducing the all-new Summer at the Scheidt Camp hosted by the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. Our month-long summer camp offers four amazing week-long sessions that will stretch your camper's creativity, grow their musical skills, and expand their knowledge. They will work with our expert faculty through a combination of masterclasses, lectures, hands-on activities, rehearsals, and performances.
Plus, campers can create their own unique experience with our extensive list of electives that lets them try new things, meet new friends and have fun.
NEW THIS YEAR!
- Music Camp - Designed for elementary students as a way to explore the wide world of music. No previous experience is required!
- Popular Music Camp - Geared towards aspiring musicians in Middle and High School who want to learn about popular music performance, songwriting, recording technology and more!

COST
For the summer of 2022, Summer at the Scheidt day camp is $150 per week. This includes tuition and an official camp t-shirt.
Meal Plan Options
- Choir, Band + Orchestra, and Popular Music Camp, meal plans are available for $136, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Elementary Music Camp meal plan is for lunch only at $48
Resident Camp Options
Available only for Choir, Band + Orchestra and Popular Music Camps. Upgrade your experience and be a resident camper! Campers are able to live, learn and play the week away on the University of Memphis campus. Housing in the Living Learning Center is $125 (5-nights) for the Choir, Band + Orchestra Camps and $100 (4-nights) for the Popular Music Camp.
