Ole' Pro-Touch Competitive Evening Camps

The Pro-Touch Soccer Camp is focused on developing players through top level instruction. This is about improving players' understanding of the game, making decisions and how to execute those decisions technically. The camp is designed using the latest training methodology from UEFA and we believe will have second to none level of instruction thought the CDEF training model.

  • The Pro-Touch Soccer Camp is focused on developing players through top level instruction.  This is about improving players' understanding of the game, making decisions and how to execute those decisions technically. The camp is designed using the latest training methodology from UEFA and we believe will have second to none level of instruction thought the CDEF training model.

    PLAYERS: “Intelligent play”

  • Developing players abilities through the CDEF soccer reference (communication, execution, decision making and fitness).

  • Developing the game understanding through the 4 phases and 2 moments of the game.

  1. Attacking
  2. Defending
  3. Transition upon losing ball possession (TLP)
  4. Transition upon gaining ball possession (TGP)

Game moments:

Offensive Set plays/ Corner kicks /PK

Defensive Set plays / Corner kicks / PK

  • Developing the individual and team players' positional understanding of the principles of play for all phases and moments of the game.

  • Developing players' self-confidence to perform under pressure.

  • Developing player's understanding of 2 fundamental styles of play (play making style & counter attacking).

  • Exposure to high level competitive environment.

GOALKEEPERS: “ability to respond to rapid new events”

  • Goalkeepers are not just shot stoppers but field players that are able to use their hands.  The majority of their training should include attackers and defenders and how they interact with the team in order to help organize defending and start attacks through distribution of the ball.

  • Effective participation during the buildup phases.

  • Development of “foot skills” and passing skills.

  • Mastering goalkeeper technique.

  • Reaction time, reflex save & alertness.

  • Positioning, game reading and understanding.
