Lantern Festival 2026
In partnership with Tianyu Arts & Culture, and presented by Truist, Memphis Zoo is proud to announce the second Memphis Zoo Lantern Festival, a holiday light experience featuring loads of new larger-than-life illuminated fixtures that are unique, but still as awesome as last year! The Memphis Zoo Lantern Festival will transform the Zoo into a dazzling wonderland of color and light featuring snow in the front of the Zoo. Guests can stroll through glowing pathways, marvel at vibrant animal-shaped lanterns, and capture unforgettable memories beneath radiant displays designed by the world-renowned Tianyu team.

Completely reimagined for this year, every turn brings something new with breathtaking lantern displays, immersive themed experiences, and a brand-new interactive Christmas maze. Are you looking for an aerial lanterns view? Try our tallest zipline at around 130 feet up for an additional fee. Enjoy a variety of holiday food and beverage options as you stroll through the rest of the beautiful scenery! Celebrate the season safely, enjoy time with family and friends, relax, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Even if you visited last year, this year's Lantern Festival is an entirely new experience you won't want to miss.
