Young Coppersmiths: Signet Rings - Metal Museum - Memphis, TN
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/08/2020
Young metalsmiths will use polymer clay to create signet rings that can be used as wax seals. They will explore imagery and symbolism and create their own unique seal. While the rings are baking they will write letters using parchment paper and fountain pens. After the rings have set they can fold their letters and use wax to seal them, stamping them with their own seal.
