Indianapolis historian Eric Grayson has been restoring some rare Boris Karloff material for the last several years, including the early sound serial King of the Kongo (1929). We’ll see some clips of that restoration in progress showing how the film has deteriorated over the years and how it’s being brought back from a point almost too far gone to save. We’ll also have a live Zoom meeting with Sara Karloff, Boris’ daughter. She will share some information about her life and her times with her famous father.
