Traditional Camp - Entering Kindergarten - Memphis Jewish Community Center
Kef is Hebrew for “FUN” and is our Traditional Camp Unit for entering Kindergartners (must be age 5 by August 15, 2019).
Kef is a great introduction to MJCC Day Camp. Campers will have a wide assortment of process-oriented, age-appropriate activities and special programs. Our caring staff, specifically trained to work with this age group, fill each day with fun! The Kef schedule has a quiet time built in, allowing campers a down time during the camp day.
Kef campers will swim twice daily. Campers will have iSwim (instructional swim) each morning provided by MJCC Swim School and free swim in the afternoon.
Kef campers participate in arts and crafts, sports, nature, Israeli Culture, music, camp games, singing, and more!
Dress-up Days & Fun Fridays
Each week we have a dress-up day on Tuesday for campers to have fun and show their camp spirit. Every Friday will bring new and exciting theme programs for Fun Friday! One of the weeks, we will travel ‘Around the World’ with activities from different countries and another week we will will have the ‘Ultimate Birthday Party’’. Your camper won’t want to miss these interactive, creative programs!
Kef will have a special visiting activity each week. From magicians to the fire truck to the petting zoo, it will be something new and fun each week!
