Get in the holiday spirit with a journey through the Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees. All proceeds benefit Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Come discover spectacular trees, enchanting displays and good times for the whole family.
The Enchanted Forest will be a little different this year due to COVID protocols. Attendance will be limited to groups of 25 every 15 minutes with timed entry ticketing. Social distancing and mask wearing requirements will be in place. Tickets will be on sale beginning November 16.
Even photos with Santa will be pandemic style with Santa being behind a Plexiglass shield that looks like he’s in a holiday snow globe. Children will sit on a bench in front of the snow globe-looking shield and be able share their holiday wishes with the jolly one.
Admission to the Enchanted Forest does not include regular Museum admission.
The Enchanted Forest
Elves, penguins, bears and charming holiday characters await you at The Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees, a 65 plus-year-old Memphis tradition.
Come enjoy animated characters set in the magical snowy setting of the Enchanted Forest. Teddy bears beckon, elves are busy at work and penguins play in the snow. Santa cheerfully greets guests at the end of the Forest and poses for holiday photos. A perfect holiday tradition for the whole family to enjoy!
You'll love strolling through the avenues of beautifully decorated trees which glisten throughout the Museum. The trees have been generously sponsored by area businesses and individuals and you're sure to find a favorite. Thousands of twinkling lights will dazzle your youngster as will the miniature train chugging through the Gingerbread Village and the charming array of furry Penguin Pals in the Penguin Pond.

A snow-covered village of scrumptious creations awaits you! From cozy cottages to majestic mansions, all are designed by local chefs, businesses, individuals and groups.
Model Train and Christmas Village
A miniature train twists and turns throughout a snow-covered village, inspiring the imagination of children and adults alike.
Schools and Group Reservations
Each year thousands of children from area schools and daycares visit the Enchanted Forest Festival of Trees. The Museum offers discounts for school groups to visit their exhibits, Giant Theater and AutoZone Dome at the Sharpe Planetarium. Reservations must be made in advance through the Museum Box Office (901) 636-2362.
