Each year, an extraordinary group of smart, talented women seek to become Miss Tennessee. One of those candidates goes on to represent our state at Miss America. Young girls between the ages of 6 and 12 years old are invited to star in a fun-filled week at the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Competition June 27 through July 3, 2021 at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in Memphis, Tennessee. Princesses will be mentored by a candidate who is vying for the title of Miss Tennessee. The TriStar Princess Program is an incredible opportunity for princesses to accompany the candidates onstage, perform an energetic dance routine each night of the competition, and learn poise, grace, and confidence. The princess program creates deep friendships and wonderful memories and is truly an unforgettable experience!

 The one-time $500 Registration Fee provides your princess with the following:

• Participation in an on-stage choreographed dance number during all three nights of the 2021 Miss Tennessee Scholarship Competition at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in Memphis, TN
• Introduction on stage during one night of the Miss Tennessee competition with her candidate
• Introduction at the TriStar Princess Program crowning event during competition week
• Two upper-level tickets to all three nights of the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Competition (One ticket is for the TriStar Princess; the other ticket is for a parent or guardian.)
• Official TriStar Princess Crown
• Official TriStar Princess T-Shirt and Bag
• Photo and Name in the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Competition Program Book
• Participation in fun events throughout competition week (see schedule on page 3)

 After ensuring that your princess can meet the requirements listed on the following page:

 1) Apply HERE to be included in the excitement!

2) Pay HERE once you have completed the application.

3) Submit photo to colene.trent@misstennessee.org.

 PHOTO REQUIREMENTS: A current 5 x 7 color head shot for the Official State Program Book. This photo should be high resolution (1 MB or larger) and should be head and shoulders only. No crowns or hats. Your application is not considered complete until the online application has been submitted, payment has been received, and the headshot has been received.

2:00 p.m.  Graceland Welcome Ceremony (wear fancy party dress) Princesses

Introduced and crowned onstage

5:00 p.m.  Arrive at Beale Street (exact location TBD) in same party dress

6:00 p.m. Miss Tennessee “Show Us Your Parasol” Parade. Princess will accompany her candidate in a horse-drawn carriage – wear fancy party dress and carry decorated parasol (see final page for more details)

1:30 Half of princesses participate in White Gown rehearsal onstage

• Dance performance will take place first
• Half of the Princesses will be presented onstage in white gown during evening gown competition
