Celebrating Black History Month, our February Family Day will immerse you in the rich tapestry of the African Diaspora. Engage with traditional African drummers and dancers, revel in the mesmerizing art of Memphis Jooking, and groove to the soulful tunes of our house band, Soul CNXN. Delight your taste buds with delectable offerings from the Three Women and a Truck food truck, and partake in arts and crafts, games, and various other captivating activities throughout the afternoon. The best part? Enjoy FREE ADMISSION from 1 - 5 pm!
This event fosters a love for the arts and provides a unique opportunity to delve into the history of Memphis, with a special focus on the pivotal role played by Stax Records. Explore the entire museum, including the recently renovated introductory theater, lobby, gift shop, and lounge—all without the regular admission fee from 1-5 pm!
Come together as we express gratitude and extend a warm invitation for more children and families to uncover the history and magic of Memphis and Stax!
