Arbor Day Ceremony at T.O. Fuller State Park

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 03/06/2026
In 1872, J. Sterling Morton proposed that a day be set aside to honor the planting of trees. This day was observed as Arbor Day and during the first year over one million trees were planted; today events are held in all 50 states and around the world to recognize Arbor Day. Join our community for a celebration at the Interpretive Center, 1442 Pavilion Drive in T.O. Fuller's Day Use Area. A tree planting and tree give-a-way will be followed by a guided tree I.D. hike with Ranger Wheatley.
