Santa arrives at 7:50 a.m. via one of Memphis Fire Department’s fanciest sleighs (Fire Engine). He greets all the kids and families. Upon his arrival, he and the families go upstairs to the banquet room for breakfast. Breakfast is an individually boxed breakfast containing a Sausage or Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit, mini cinnamon roll, juice box, and hash brown casserole. Of course, there is coffee for the parents. Kids can color a placemat and write a letter to Santa to put in the special mailbox.
After eating breakfast, Santa heads downstairs in the museum and takes his place on an antique fire engine bench. After they finish eating, children can come downstairs and have a free picture made with Santa. They get to head home that day with their free picture in hand. After their picture, kids can go into the other building at the museum and have story time with the Dalmatians and Ms. Pat, get their face painted, have their favorite balloon animal made and play in the museum’s play area.
We have three breakfast times – 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus eat with each set of kids and then take pictures with each set of kids.
